Quick Start Guide

Create Your Account

  1. Visit gestallt.com/app and click Sign Up
  2. Enter your email and create a password
  3. Verify your email address

Create Your First Team

Teams in Gestallt are organized around a child. Each team includes everyone who supports that child’s communication journey.

  1. After signing in, click Create New Team
  2. Name your team (typically the child’s name or nickname)
  3. You’ll automatically become the team admin

Invite Your Team

As a team admin, you can invite:

  • Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Educators and Aides
  • Family Members
  • Other Support Professionals

To invite someone:

  1. Go to Team Settings
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. They’ll receive an invitation to join

Document Your First Gestalt

  1. Click Add Gestalt
  2. Enter the phrase you heard
  3. Add context (what was happening, where, etc.)
  4. Add any relevant tags
  5. Click Save

Using SLP Mode (For Clinical Documentation)

  1. Toggle to SLP Mode in settings
  2. Click Add Gestalt
  3. Select the developmental stage (1-6)
  4. Choose the feeling classification
  5. Select the location/context
  6. Add function and source information
  7. Include clinical notes
  8. Click Save

View Team Progress

All team members can view the shared gestalt timeline, filter by tags, stages, or dates, and see patterns emerge over time.
